Our lives in the modern world can be very stressful. We all are juggling multiple roles and responsibilities. Our pace is often too fast and too demanding, leaving very little space and time for reflecting on what we truly need and want in life. Lack of deep connections, predictability, and stability in a work place induces stress and requires a better orchestrated balancing act from all of us. More and more people make a conscious choice to have a life and a job, to seek a more balanced, purposeful and authentic way of living. Many of us know what we would like to change in our life, but have a challenging time transitioning from knowing into doing and manifesting our heartfelt desires.
Life Coaching is a new profession solely designed to provide support for the people who already have a measurable degree of success in their life, people who are willing to make a commitment and to take action to achieve their goals. The basic philosophy behind Life Coaching is that each of us has multiple gifts, talents, and tremendous internal resources, allowing us to achieve any goal when we are supported from a place of total acceptance, expanding positive focus in life.
Coaching is an established practice in sports activities. No athlete would consider to reach a full potential or to achieve excellence without a coach. Having someone who will keep us “on track”, inspire and support us can help us build confidence and reach the finish line sooner and with better results. So, how is the game of life different? Can a life coach help us become a better “player”?
One doesn´t have to “have a problem” to benefit from coaching. Life Coaching is focusing on goals, not issues. It assists people in creating the life they want, not coping with the one they don´t like. Coaching facilitates “pattern interrupt” to aid us in our ability to challenge existing belief systems, to clarify our values, and ultimately to create our life with clarity and ease.
